This month WKNO's Felicia Peat, Project Coordinator for the WKNO PBS KIDS 24/7 Channel who plays the on-screen character "Teacher Teacher," partnered with the Fire Museum to film two fire safety spots with Memphis Fire Prevention staff members Marian Nance, Thomas Hubbert, Michael Bobo, Jeff Robinson, and Patricia Belt (and Izzy and Astro the Fire Dogs!) The museum is proud to be part of WKNO's Kids programming and to help promote this important fire safety message!

We would like to thank FedEx for its generous ongoing support of the Fire Museum of Memphis, including a recent $15,000 donation to support the FedEx Fire Room, the museum’s signature exhibit. The FedEx Fire Room allows our visitors to safely experience the grave dangers of a home fire, including intense heat, blinding smoke, and how quickly it can spread and become life-threatening, giving us an effective tool to promote fire safety in our community. The Fire Museum has received $30,000 in support from FedEx over the last two years, as well as many other donations in the past twenty years, helping us to prevent injuries and loss of life from fires. Thank you to FedEx for being such an outstanding sponsor and member of our community!
